About This Beer
To make it, they started with an absurdly decadent triple-mashed Imperial Stout base and let it mature in Willett bourbon barrels for a whopping 16 months. Then, they rounded it out with some sweetness by conditioning it all on bourbon barrel aged vanilla.
Tasting Notes
We expect each fudgy sip to bring on waves of dark chocolate and candied date, while ribbons of crème brûlée expertly complement the roastiness of the malts. And we’re definitely looking forward to some gorgeous barrel character on the back end, titillating the palate with whiskey, oak, and vanilla nuances.
