A Note on This Beer
Lucky for us, Fremont opened up their vault and gave us 60 bottles of their 10th Anniversary Stout from 2019 to share today!
When you dive into its a dark depths, you’re tasting a sumptuous blend of three different Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts:
1) One Stout aged Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels
2) One Stout aged in vanilla extract-laced Bourbon barrels
3) For the cherry on top, one Stout aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels with tart, locally-grown, dark and Montmorency cherries
The finished blend is rich, roasty, and opulently smooth from a mix of special malts and oats. It opens with flavors of melted dark chocolate, espresso, and creamy vanilla. A bright burst of cherry comes through on the 11.1% ABV finish alongside a whisper of boozy Bourbon.

Tasting Notes
This Stout of Christmas Past is a rich and roasty treat! It opens with melty dark chocolate and espresso notes, slightly muted and smoothed by the barrels’ creamy vanilla ribbons. A whisper of bourbon finishes the sip like a winter nightcap.
