About This Beer
Double Mountain loaded 400 pounds of richly tart Bing and Vann cherries into oak barrels and aged the beer on the fruit for 12 months to create this 9.2% ABV demon.
Tasting Notes
Mmm, can you detect the oak influence on the juicy cherries? Do you taste the woody bite, a touch of raspberries, and even more cherries? It’s the cherry pie-like Brettanomyces Lambicus the brewery adds to their house cultures, doubling down on cherry richness.
After years in Double Mountain’s carefully controlled cellar, this brew is smoother and more complex than ever before, with nuances of plum and raisin balanced against bright cherry and subtle pops of grassy funk.

A bit of a wild ale bite, cherry was not overpowering or too syrupy. Didn’t fully come together for me… almost like they left it in the barrel too long.
