A Note on This Beer
The “Bozeman Underground” is Bozeman Brewing’s pinnacle of Sour obsession.
It consists of some 285 barrels cellared away from public view, each one housing its own Sour-style brew. Over time, the beers develop into some of the most deliciously complex brews Big Sky Country has to offer.
But, most craft fans will never taste them! The Bozeman crew only tends to bring out a barrel or two at a time in incredibly limited releases, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Fortunately, you’re not “most craft fans.”
Now’s your chance to taste Metamorphic, brimming with exquisite layers of dark fruit, woody spice, and wild funk!
Bozeman fermented this Flanders Style Red Ale with cherries for notes of tangy-tart succulence, and that just scratches the surface. The brewers also aged this sipper for a total of 47 months, first in French and American oak, then finished in Westland Whiskey barrels for 8 months! Each sip offers plenty of oak and cherry notes upfront, mellowing into whispers of vanilla and Bretty nuances.
Sadly, we have just 180 bottles of Metamorphic to go around. You know what to do!
