Tasting Notes
2x 500ml Bottle - Touch of Brett - Farmhouse Ale Aged in French Oak Barrels and Dry-hopped with Citra- 7.9% ABV
The GABF and Oregon Beer Award winning Saison features complex notes of funky Brettanomyces and French oak accented by bright citrus and sweet fruit. Nuances of grapefruit and lemon dance around the farmyard with lychee and apple in this dry and effervescent brew.
2x 500ml Bottle - Belle - Sour Ale Aged in French Oak Foeders with Mirabelle Plums - 7.9% ABV
Ripe, golden Mirabelle plums from Alesong’s neighbors at King Estate Winery give Belle a beautiful honeyed richness. Notes of stone fruit, white raisin, and subtle oak combine with the tart base to form a layered, elegant, and lightly funky sipper that perfectly captures the fruit at its finest.
2x 500ml Bottle - Cherry Parliament - Sour Red Ale Aged with Cherries in Wine and Bourbon Barrels - 7.5% ABV
Alsong created this intricate and fruity on a Flanders-inspired base. Then they aged it with local Bing cherries in bourbon barrels that formerly housed their barleywine. A taste of the garnet-colored brew is like a mouthful of cherry pie with a nip of bourbon — bright and deeply fruity with malty undertones, oak, and a hint of boozy spice.
2x 500ml Bottle - Double Barrel Maple Rhino Suit - Imperial Milk Stout Aged in Bourbon and Maple Syrup Barrels - 13.9% ABV
This rich and inky sipper spent a year aging in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, then another 6 months in Bissell Farm maple syrup barrels — which previously held the famed Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. A swirl of the glass brings out aromas of chocolate truffles, laced through with nuances of creme brûlée and maple sugar. The taste follows, soaked in whiskey decadence.
