About This Beer
The masters of the seven seas — aargh, I mean the beer masters at 7 Seas Brewing — have another treasure for us to enjoy. The team stowed their Barleywine base away in rye barrels, imbuing the caramelly, figgy brew with delicate tinges of oak, clove, and cinnamon spice.
Tasting Notes
Every sip of this decadent Barleywine is rich with notes of caramel and fig. Time spent in rye barrels brings balancing notes of oak, clove, and cinnamon.

heavy alcohol smell, then a brewed, soy sauce smell, followed by a very chocolatey bitter taste, alcohol, followed by cacao, then alcohol and sweet fig. Buy:Revolution Breweries: Ryeway to Heaven to recreate this taste.

Tasty, but not overly thick to keep it very barleywine-esque and out of that porter territory. Leathery but subtle.
