About This Beer
Sometimes small is special. Like when you have an especially tasty BBA Stout. Westbound & Down gets it — hence the diminutive delight, 8oz is Enough.
The Colorado team aged two of their Imperial Oatmeal Stouts in Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s, and Weller bourbon barrels for 10, 12, and 15 months before blending them together.
Tasting Notes
This brew is so new, you’ll be one of the first to taste it! We expect that the collective three years spent in booze-soaked oak left the roasty base with a richly layered complexity. You can look forward to milk chocolate, toffee, and dark fruit notes weaving together into a tapestry of fudgy nuances. Give your glass a swirl and pick up on the tones of woody vanilla, pipe tobacco, and whiskey spice threaded throughout.

One of my favorite BA imperial stouts. 8oz is definitely enough but you definitely want more
