About This Beer
To craft it, the Alaskan legends aged their world-class Barleywine in Woodford Reserve Double Oaked bourbon barrels for seven months, then transferred it to Willet bourbon barrels for an additional 11 months.
Tasting Notes
Cascades of caramel-coated dates, golden toffee, brown sugar, and rich whiskey vanilla course through every quaff. Whispers of oaky spice carry on the end of every chewy mouthful, all hiding an enormous 17% ABV!

First Anchorage Brewing product I've tried. Absolutely phenomenal—one of the finest brews I've ever had. Viscous mouthfeel that coats the palate. Influence of the bourbon barrels is clear, but not overpowering.

Top notch barrel-aged stout. Malt flavors balance against the high alcohol. Barrel flavors are there but don't dominate. Only complaint is the price. These are other top tier overpriced beers that are about as good but less overpriced.
