About This Beer
To craft it, Gabe Fletcher and his team blended two single oaked casks of the iconic barleywine — one aged 17 months in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel and the other 15 months in a Russel’s Reserve bourbon barrel.
Tasting Notes
This showstopper hasn’t been released yet, but we’re expecting the base brew's decadent notes of candied date and caramel to really shine throughout the sip. Bread pudding undertones and a kiss of chocolate should lead to sublime layers of oaky vanilla and whiskey on the ultra smooth finish.
