About This Beer
The luminaries at Anchorage started with a chewy Barleywine base aged for a total of 30 months, transferring from Willet rye, to Wild Turkey bourbon, and finally Heaven Hill 15-Year malt whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
Notes of caramel coated dates, brown sugar, and oaky vanilla course through every thick, velvety quaff. Dried cherry and whispers of woody spice carry through the end, expertly hiding the behemoth 22.93% ABV.
