I’d like a little more A Little Less Immoderation. Scratch that — I’d like A LOT more A Little Less Immoderation. And while that might go against the whole spirit of the name, this tout is just SO DAMN DELICIOUS! But what else would you expect coming from the legends at both Evil Twin and Moksa?

Tasting Notes

Additions of raw coconut, toasted coconut, real vanilla, maple syrup, and coffee impart a rich decadence to each fudgy sip. Mocha notes combine with the malts for plenty of roasty undertones, while Mounds Bar and syrup-drizzled pancake nuances add to the deliciousness.

Having visited Moksa, I know they specialize in barrel aged imperial stouts with lots of vanilla, especially candy bar-like creations. Sadly this collab doesn't live up to that standard. It's perfectly serviceable, with all flavors evident... but just a little too bitter and coffee-forward, with the coconut and maple laid back too much.

Solid ET stout, great viscosity, off sweet. Not really getting much of the coconut, it’s mostly a vanilla maple chocolate shake with a splash of coffee.

Near black pour with a nice foamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate and burnt toast, coffee, light coconut. Taste really brings out the coffee, maple syrup popping up in the background. Mild sweetness up front, generous bitter bite at the finish. Lots of cocoa/ chocolate too, coconut not as prominent.
