The name is deceiving, definitely do not taste coconut, but the vanilla and malty notes hit the spot.

Listermann always hits the nail on the head with their stouts. Listermann has easily replaced what I thought was my #1 brewery for stouts, because despite their success, they've kept their prices fair and reasonable for their loyal patrons. This is a 12% ABV beer, and you can barely detect any alcohol in it because it's smooth and the flavor is totally balanced. It tastes like a coconut latte. The whole ass coconut is balanced well amid coffee flavors. This is not my favorite of their flavors despite it being amazing, but the consistency is PERFECT - not too thin, not too thick. There is some sort of what I'd call a "buttery" note to this, I don't know how else to describe it other than that but I may be off in trying to describe it accurately. This "buttery" feel to it is what's making it go down so smoothly with such high alcohol content. Thanks a bunch, Listermann. You guys always keep it real - Tavour: keep these guys stocked for life, and I will keep buying.

as some stated I didn’t get much coconut. the rye I feel hides a lot of the flavors. still a very good stout overall.
