A Note on This Beer
Fremont Brewing’s Bourbon Barrel-Aged Abominable Winter Ale is not only the brewery’s most famous beer - it was the first Washington brew to crack BeerAdvocate’s coveted Top 250.
But Coffee Cinnamon Bourbon Abominable may even be more well loved than the original for its deft use of cinnamon and smooth coffee flavors.
Tapped from Fremont’s award-winning Barrel-Aging program, the series is affectionately referred to as “B-Bomb” by locals. Like its nickname suggests, this 14% ABV powderkeg bursts with barrel-infused notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and warm cinnamon spice.
Coffee Cinnamon B-Bomb’s hefty malt bill shotguns your palate with flavors of java, cocoa nibs, spice and molasses. Columbus, Willamette, and Golding Hops energize with a hearty spice bouquet and smoky, bitter cocoa. The addition of cold brew coffee and cinnamon bark softens the edge of B-Bomb’s bold Bourbon flavors, wrapping the boozy finish in a warm blanket of spiced coffee.
Easily one of the brewery’s most desired and collectable beers, B-Bomb’s winter wonderland of Bourbon is so explosively delicious, you can enjoy it now or cellar for years to come. Coffee Cinnamon Abominable’s extremely limited run makes this Winter Ale almost as elusive as its Yeti namesake.
