In The Amazing Spider-Man, scientists develop a serum to help amputees regenerate missing limbs. Head scientist Dr. Connors decides to test the serum on himself — and turns into a terrifying lizard-human!

Today’s delicious Double IPA, Abuse of Science, won’t turn you into a giant reptile with super-strength, but its massive 11% ABV may make you feel just as powerful! The mad brewing scientists at Destination Unknown pack this IPA with so much delicious hoppiness, craft fans often don’t notice the booze up front (muahahaha).

The brewers use earthy Cryo Simcoe in the whirlpool, then dry-hop with Cryo Citra, Galaxy, and Vic Secret Hops. Flavors of juicy peaches, ripe passionfruit, tart grapefruit, and invigorating pine abound in every sip!

This hazy science experiment combines Destination Unknown’s high ABV Abuse series with their lupulin-powered Science IPA series, for a boozy brew of super hero-like proportions!

16 oz can from Tavour. Pale golden with a light haze, nice fluffy head, big clumpy lacing and lots of fine carbonation. Aroma is bready with light citrus notes. Taste is more the biscuit malts, light lemon peel zest, gentle bitterness. The feel is beautiful, thi\ck, creamy and exceptionally smooth for a beer of this potency. No sign of the ABV whatsoever.
