A Note on This Beer

Sipping on Ain’t No Hurry from WeldWerks Brewing is like sitting out on a porch in an old wooden chair — creaky and comfortable from years of use. The carbonation crackles like the chirps of nocturnal critters waking up as you settle in for a quiet evening.

In a word, this brand new iced-tea inspired Sour Wheat Ale is calm.

In another word, it’s delicious! The folks at WeldWerks gently brew earthy black tea into this Ale. They add honey, turbinado sugar, and ginger for sweetness and warmth. And, what’s a tea-flavored brew without a squeeze of tart lemon?

Over on Untappd, people have been unwinding and enjoying this Arnold Palmer-esque Sour Ale. @Nathan H. wrote “ooh I really like this,” while @Hoppocrates declares that it’s, “so well done and refreshing.”

We all have stress (and plenty of it), so when a tranquil brew like Ain’t No Hurry comes along, it’s never a bad idea to grab a couple cans for those much needed front porch moments.

WeldWerks was honored on National Philanthropy Day for their giving, volunteering and charitable engagement in Colorado!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

This is really quite tasty. Black tea, lemon, ginger very prominent. The sweetness is nice at first, became a bit cloying after a bit. But overall I liked it much more than I expected.

Im rating this right down the middle. I think they executed their intention perfectly. It really does taste like a sweet tea with lemon. For me personally it was too sweet to continue drinking after about a 1/4 can. They do some funky things at Weldwerks and I applaud them for trying some wild stuff. If you like sweet, this could be a winner for you

Pretty tasty. I wouldn’t necessarily call it an Arnold Palmer but it was tasty and lemony. I didn’t get any Berliner Weisse out of it and reminded me more of a malt liquor than any beer I’ve ever had.

Mild sour; the notes of ginger, honey, and tea make this an easy sipping masterpiece

Whoa. Was not expecting that. Sweet but In way I’ve never tasted in a beer. It does have this sweet tea flavor. Very cool. However, it’s probably not my cup of tea

It is a strange beer. Too sweet for my taste. No sourness. All the ingredients are perceptible, if anything it reminds me of kombucha. Not bad. Flavors listed are definitely present.

All flavors shine through individually. It's tremendous. For all the people saying that it's sweet, they aren't wrong. However, it's like they used a sweet tea for the Arnold Palmer. It does say that it has Turbinado sugar in it, so that makes sense. The "sour" aspect of the beer isn't really "sour", more like it helps give base to the natural lemon flavor. Top tier beer!

Sweet tea, what I wanted and expected from this, awesome and perfect for summer. However, about ten minutes after opening I was 80% through and the flavor turned to a foul wet dog taste. Couldn’t finish. A bit disconcerting.

True to the description. Flavors are nicely balanced. I could drink a couple of these sitting in the shade on a hot day

Very reminiscent of a classic sweet tea. Very forward on the turbinado sugar. Although a little sweet for my taste, would surely be refreshing on a hot summer day.

In be in a hurry to get some more of these. I flew to Colorado just to try some of their brews. This one is Absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of sours but thought I'd give it a try. Not to sour, and all the mentioned notes are bold.

A boozy Arnold Palmer. Strong tea flavor, finishing with notes of lemon and a touch of sweetness. Light, easily drinkable, not overly sweet.

Although I think this is a very enjoyable beer, and the flavor is exactly what is stated on the can, it needs a bit more of the beer flavor. A little hard to tell it is a Berliner Weisse. It is a very fantastic, boozy Arnold Palmer. Lots of tasty tea elements and sweet and sour elements as well from the sugars and lemon. Perfect flavors and perfect aroma for what it is, but just lacking enough of the beer essence to really make this an outstanding beer.

Like others have said not my cup of tea. It is more sweet than sour, which I don’t get any sourness really. The honey and tea is very forward. Vet defender for a beer and almost more like a mead especially in sweetness.
