A Note on This Beer
Just like the sea of fans that mobbed record stores whenever Led Zepplin dropped a new album, release days at New York’s Singlecut attract crowds of fans clamoring to taste the brewery’s hop juice.
If you haven’t heard of Singlecut, these guys are basically rockstars on the New York craft scene.
Not only is their 4.03 brewery rating on Untappd is higher than their all-star neighbors at KCBC and Interboro, but VinePair even called them out as one of the Best Breweries in New York!
And since it’s pretty much impossible to find their beers anywhere outside the Big Apple, I knew I had to score today’s All That Is Now DDH Double IPA to share with you all.
With a massive 4.28 rating on UT, getting your hands on a can feels like landing backstage passes to a sold out show. And I’ll bet your buds will be hanging around, hoping they’re lucky enough to get in on this juicy action with you.
Pour All That Is Now into a glass and rock out to aromas of ripe peaches and bright citrus. Waves of ruby red grapefruit, dank papaya, and tangerine crash onto the palate as a final touch of resinous pine appears to balance out the symphony of fruit.
This rockstar of a brew sings to the tune of 8.6% ABV and is so deceptively smooth that after a few sips, you might just consider getting the band back together, big hair and all.
We recommend enjoying All That Is Now with a couple of good friends. Head out to the garage, turn on your favorite Zeppelin record, and jam along with this excellent brew from New York’s hopmasters.
