A Note on This Beer
I’ve had a lot of time to think lately, and I just had an epiphany: I’m not drinking enough gigantically boozy beers.
Luckily, I can remedy the situation with today’s All Worked Up [Banished] from Oregon’s Crux Fermentation Project. And, if you find yourself in the same boat, I highly suggest you grab a bottle.
But, be quick about it. We have a mere 14 cases for the entire Tavour community! Blink, and you’ll miss it.
Those lucky enough to snag a bottle are in for a serious treat!
Because, the crew at Crux brewed this beer BIG! It comes with a 12.5% ABV wrapped in rich layers of caramel, candied dates, and smooth vanilla. Then, they let it slumber in Chardonnay barrels for 6 months, picking up notes of snappy green grape and a slight touch of acidity.
The result is sweet, smooth, and way too drinkable for something so boozy.
If you’re lucky enough to snag a bottle, try to remain calm and sip slowly. Although I’ll totally understand if you get All Worked Up.
