They went completely nuts with this sumptuous brew, loading their Stout base with 9 lbs of real coconut per barrel. Then, they aged this Mounds-like confection for 9 whole months in locally-sourced Whiskey barrels.

The result is a chocolatey, coconutty 12.5% ABV Stout, laced with luxurious ribbons of whiskey-sweet booziness.

Early taster @E.A. says it tastes just like a “Girl Scout Samoan cookie dipped in an Irish coffee.” @Justin N. even goes so far as to declare it the, “Best beer I’ve ever tasted!”

River North says this one’s for the “coconut lovers, whiskey lovers, and stout lovers.” You get the picture — pretty much every dark brew lover can find something to covet in this Imperial Stout!
