About This Beer

Tasting Notes
Rich notes of caramel and charred oak blend into the brown sugar and brownie flavors of the Barleywine base. The finish is as thick and opulent as a triple fudge cake with molasses buttercream filling!

I grew a beard drinking this!

Phenomenal!
It’s medium to full-bodied and has a TON of flavor packed in it. Molasses and oak really shine and there’s a hint of baker’s chocolate. The description mentions brownie but it’s subtle. Almost as if someone used baker’s chocolate and no sugar to make brownies. Overall, it’s a phenomenal beer. I’m sad I only bought 2.

A nice sipping drink enjoyed the bourbon barreling which over power much of the beer, but that was what I was looking for when I drank
this beer.

shared this one with my sister because that 16-something% was daunting! we both enjoyed it! didn’t find the barrel-aged flavor to be too overpowering.

Caramel, brown sugar, bourbon barrel & a slight amount of hoppy bitterness.

Sweet and bourbon-y on the nose. Great boozy flavor, especially as it warms.

Doesn’t taste boozy at all, which is dangerous. Soft aroma of leather and orange, complimented by the rich flavors of vanilla, molasses/toffee, raisins, and bourbon-soaked oak. Like a craft Old Fashioned. Sip and savor slowly, or you may just lose a year…
