A Note on This Beer
If you can’t tell the difference between peaches and apricots, don’t worry. You’re in good company.
I mean, they’re both fuzzy stonefruit with juicy, yellow-golden flesh. But the key difference is in the taste. And once you get a taste of today’s Apricot Weiss from Missouri’s Crane Brewing, you’ll see that peaches don’t hold a candle to the tart powers of apricots!
Crane would know! Their fruited Sours have been praised by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Forbes, and even Men’s Journal, who calls the base beer in today’s Apricot Weiss the Best Beer in Missouri!
To craft today’s apricot-blasted brew, Crane took that lauded Berliner Weiss base and added 15 lbs of apricots to every barrel! The result is terrifically tangy with a succulent sweetness to match!
Every single pucker-worthy sip of the 90/100 BA-rated brew is as bright and juicy as biting into an apricot plucked from the tree. And since apricots are less sugary than their peachy pals, they make an ideal fruit for brewing refreshingly tart sippers — they don’t undercut the light body with syrupy sweetness.
That’s why I’ll be filling my cheeks (and belly) with pour after pour of today’s golden treat. And if you’re quick enough to score some of the tiny stash we have left, you can too.
