A Note on This Beer
When I was a kid, I LOVED the days when my grandma drove us out to the local U-Pick peach farm and we’d spend the day selecting the juiciest and ripest fruits from the trees.
Then, she’d use that luscious loot to mix up one of my all-time favorite desserts: peach cobbler!
Grandma’s was the best — layers of warm cinnamon, tart peaches, and sweet vanilla all wrapped in crumbly, graham cracker crust. There’s nothing quite like it in the world.
Or, at least that’s what I used to think.
But then, I got a taste of today’s brand spankin’ new ARCHER Fruited Sour from the Wild Ale masters at Black Project and, dare I say, it’s WAY better than anything grandma used to make!
In fact, I’m not the only one swooning for this peachy-keen treat. Colorado locals lucky enough to snag the first sips are losing their pits over Archer’s delicious pie-like flavors:
- “So good. Just like pie.” @Kelsey M.
- “Grandma’s peach cobbler! Lots of cinnamon and vanilla!” @Michael B.
- “Holy F.” @Zac
“Holy F.” is right.
But, you better act fast if you want a slice…ahem, sip of today’s tart and tantalizing sipper. Because we only managed to wrangle a mere 60 cases out of Colorado. And I don’t expect our Sour-lovin’, peach-drinkin’ members to leave a single drop behind.
Today’s beer is too new for ratings!
