A Note on This Beer

Each thirst-quenching sip of today’s limited-edition Cider carries a whisper of barnyard funk from Far West Cider’s California farm. Since they crafted it with native yeast and mixed cultures, there’s a bit of the beautiful Bay Area in each crisp, refreshing taste.

These award-winning* Cider makers combined tangy, juicy Gold Rush apples with a field blend of apples from their 100 year-old orchard.

Their process includes canning with residual sugar and months of patient conditioning, resulting in a Cider with the mouthwatering scent of baked apples, a bright, juicy flavor, and woodsy warmth. It’s the ideal companion for a warm spring afternoon spent lounging in the backyard or picnicking in the park.

You won’t find Far West’s innovative Ciders outside of California, and this homegrown crew only made a limited batch. So, if you want to snag some cans of this funky little sipper, now’s your chance!

*Far West’s Ciders won back-to-back Good Food Awards!

Artist Series #1 features the work of local artist Chonnessey Bowie, an abstract expressionist who focuses on melding the past with the present. His influences include Picasso, Basquiat, Pollack, and de Kooning.

Strong and good. You can taste the apple flavors and it leaves traces of its booziness behind.

Erm... not my favorite. It was odd for me and I honestly am having a hard time pinpointing what I didn't like because it's such an obscure brew.

definitely dry. it’s a solid dry cider. i like my cider a bit more sweet, so it’s why i dropped the rating slightly.

Extremely carbonated with a funky smell and taste, and not a good funky. Artwork doesn’t help.

There was way too much carbonation and the taste was unlike any cider I’ve ever had. It was a big disappointment and had poor taste.

Nice dry champagne taste, apple us there without being overly sweet. Nice and dry, the way I like them. Best cider I’ve had yet!

A wonderful dry cider with a champagne-like body and pleasant level of brett that gives it the classic earthy funk of brett without overwhelming the taste of apples.

Definitely a dry cider. Very carbonated, and has a distinct sulphur smell. Not my favorite brew honestly.
