About This Beer
Named after the Atacama desert — where astronomers go to enjoy the darkest skies on earth — this midnight-hued pour sparkles with black currant flavor. The team at Garagiste used a galaxy’s worth of the fruit to accentuate the premium orange blossom honey of the base brew.
Tasting Notes
Tart notes from the imported Polish currants balance beautifully against the sweetness of the mead, conjuring what the brewers call “the boldest and most intense expression of currants on the market.” The thick body carries so much rich fruity flavor, you might be tempted to drizzle it over vanilla ice cream. We won’t blame you if you do.

Very Sweet and little tart deliciousness, very much like a port wine/dessert wine. Loved the flavors of berries, easily finished the bottle in one evening.
