About This Beer
To craft this year’s vintage, the Fremont crew blended Winter Ales aged between 9 and 24 months in 8- to 12-year old American Oak bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Each sip weaves a rich, silky tapestry of toffee, date, espresso, and baker’s chocolate notes. Hints of savory leather and dark fruits accentuate the sweetness before giving way to intricate layers of vanilla oak and whiskey on the finish — all while keeping the 15.4% ABV unbelievably smooth.
