About This Beer
The celebrated brewers at Jester King created three stunning, cherry-stuffed sippers to compare the different features of two special varieties. And this brew is filled to the brim with 5-6 lb per gallon of tart-sweet Balaton cherries!
The crew added the fruit to a mature, spontaneously-fermented, barrel aged base. Then they let it referment into the dry, almost wine-like character it is today.
Tasting Notes
Each ruby pour bursts with tangy nuances of perfectly-ripe pie fruit accented by bready malts and a jammy hint of fresh preserves. Underneath, funky oak, hay, and lemon zest tones give the sip a craveably complex quality.
