About This Beer
The brewers started with a rich, roasty base and fermented it cold like a Lager for ultra smooth sipping. Then they aged it for nearly a year in Elijah Craig 12 Year bourbon barrels to create an intricate and complex flavor profile.
Tasting Notes
Take a sip, and you’ll discover a beautifully balanced symphony of sweet caramel tones, woody oak notes, and roasty espresso-like bitterness. Nuances of baker’s chocolate and top shelf whiskey accentuate the crisp and pleasantly dry finish with barely a hint of the 11.6% ABV.

Solid porter. I dig the whole experience of Alesong brews. They feel really upscale, but the flavors never blow me away. I expected more heft from this one and it wasn’t there.

Good chocolate notes and roasty malts. Bourbon-barrel aging enhances and sweetens the final product.
