About This Beer
Southern Grist began with a triple-mashed Imperial Stout base that they boiled for 24 hours, achieving a rich, velvety body. Then they racked it into Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon barrels for 23 months to impart impeccable cask character. Finally, the team conditioned the brew on coconut, hazelnuts, and vanilla beans.
