About This Beer
The team started by aging their rich and velvety Imperial Stout base in premium bourbon barrels until they soaked up all that spirited oaky goodness. Then they hit it with decadent additions of Vietnamese coffee, toasted coconut, and a blend of Madagascar and Tahitian vanilla, wrapping it up in lavish café tones.
Tasting Notes
Each sumptuous sip teems with mouth-watering notes of espresso and rich coconut cream, while gorgeous whispers of barrel char round out the backend. It’s like if your favorite latte got a tropical coconut treatment and came with a bold 13.2% ABV!

Pleasant bourbon flavor, but the vanilla and coconut are only very subtle

More between a 4.25 and 4.5, this was a little more coconut away from being one of the best I've ever had from AleSmith

Luxurious jet black pour is topped by a foamy brown head. Rich roasted malt aroma is redolent of espresso, vanilla and coconut. Flavor mirrors nose. Bold, roasted malt flavor is sweet and sticky. Dark coffee, vanilla and coconut flavors ring true. Plenty of warming, boozy notes in middle. The bourbon and oak nuances are subdued, but still there. One of the better Speedway variants I’ve tried.
