About This Beer
Just imagine a brunch bar with a red velvet rope. Imagine you had access to that secret, bougie bar and all its fixings. Now you have an idea of what you’re in for with Hubbard Cove’s decadent, luxurious Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout – filled to the brim with rich maple syrup and Abacus coffee bean.
Tasting Notes
every sip is so opulent and thick, you’ll be able to sit back and “chew” the flavors. With the roasty notes blending with bourbon caramel and maple sweetness, you may well miss the resounding 13% ABV. When you slide out of your seat, maybe stand up slowly. It’ll get ya quick.

Great coffee notes with caramel flavors from the bourbon. Maple syrup adds a subtle sweet note.

the after taste is nice, but the first notes taste when taking the first sip is coffee liquor. that's not bad but I was expecting more of a strong smoky coffee flavor. for example belching bevers peanut butter stout has more of a smoky coffee flavor. overall good not great.
