About This Beer
To celebrate their 12th anniversary, the crew at 903 Brewers crafted today’s roasty, toasty barrel aged beauty! And to make it, they got together with their pals at The Blendery and the Subourbon Dads Club (pun definitely intended).
The team began with a rich Imperial Stout aged for 15 months in a single wheated whiskey barrel from The Blendery. Then they conditioned the 13.9% ABV brew with espresso beans for a little extra buzz.
Tasting Notes
We’re anticipating smooth mocha notes deepened by all the tasty nuances of spirited oak. Expect hints of caramel and dark fruit to make an appearance before each taste wraps up with a touch of whiskey spice.
