About This Beer
To make this one, the Florida crew co-fermented black currants, raspberries, and strawberries with locally sourced polyfloral honey from Sarasota. They added gluten free graham and amburana wood, then aged the Mead on heavily charred American Oak. To finish things off, they transferred it to a single, freshly-emptied Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon barrel for nearly two more years!
Tasting Notes
Look for tangy red berry flavors wrapped in honey sweetness. Hints of char should combine with cracker nuances for notes of a toasted pastry crust, with a drizzle of whiskey-infused caramel lingering on the finish.
