About This Beer
For this iteration of Old Irving’s iconic Krampus series, the brewers blended Imperial stout aged in Buffalo Trace and 13 Year Willett bourbon barrels, rye barrel aged Ryewine, and bourbon barrel aged Barleywine. And they left it unaduncted, so nothing gets in the way of all that layered cask character.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to deep notes of caramel, raisin, and brown sugar swirling into rich baker’s chocolate nuances with every swig. All those barrels should translate to wood char, spicy rye, and top shelf whiskey tones that linger long after the smooth 15% ABV finish.
