About This Beer
Crafted in Texas, this vibrant brew’s roots go all the way back to the legendary winemakers at Frederiksdal in Denmark, known for their use of Stevnsbær cherries.
The JK crew started with a mixed culture Farmhouse Ale using Hill Country well water, local grain, and aged hops. Then they let it age in Balcones Bourbon barrels before re-fermenting it with Danish Stevnsbær cherry juice.
Tasting Notes
The masterfully-executed final result is deliciously dry, intensely fruity, and full of unique complexity, highlighting both the Texan and Danish terroirs. Take a sip, and luxurious notes of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur burst onto the palate. A vivid tang titillates the senses, while funky barnyard tones and hints of oaky vanilla deepen every nuance.
