About This Beer
This bourbon barrel-aged beer brings big breakfast flavor that will satisfy any Stout fan’s sweet tooth.
Tasting Notes
Decadent maple sweetness sings alongside faintly earthy notes from the almond, and it all rides a current of roasty malts and bourbon caramel. Vanilla sweeps in towards the finish, elevating nuances of chocolate in the base brew for a maple-mocha flavor that lingers long after the sip. It’s all so silky smooth, you’re liable to forget all about that giant ABV!

barrel is strong on the nose. first notes on the palate are toasted almonds, but leaning towards sweet hazelnut & chocolate spread. this is my first time consoled to give tasting notes. way better than I was anticipating.

Great! Nice and boozy but not overpowering and the maple syrup wasn’t to much, wish I had another bottle!

Weird flavor combination. Everything was pretty subdued, more roasty, barrel than anything. It was ok, not the best I’ve had from Prairie.
Let it warm, here comes the toasty nuts and maple…big improvement!

Prairie Artisan Ales are always an art form. Their beers are what craft beer is all about. This beer was thick and heavy while being at the same time smooth and silky.
