About This Beer
The crew at Old Irving teamed up with their friends at Forbidden Root Brewery to craft this decadent dram. After an 18-month stint in Old Elk and Wild Turkey bourbon barrels it emerged soaked in complex cask character. And the crew conditioned it on organic cocoa nibs, Madagascar vanilla beans, and peanut butter, infusing every sip with incredible richness.
Tasting Notes
Notes of artisanal PB cup swirl throughout the fudgy sip, bolstered by a roasty backbone. Mocha undertones and hints of caramel-drizzled dates mingle just beneath the surface, ushering the palate toward a silky finish. And the only hint of the bold 14% ABV is a lingering whisper of woody whiskey.

This was damn near perfect. You could taste the bourbon influence but it wasn't too crazy, it was peanut buttery on the finish... lightly but I tasted chocolate upfront. Then as it warmed up it flipped. very tasty.
