When the moon hits your eye like a barrel of rye, that’s Elder Pine!

And if it makes you feel fine like a nice Barleywine, that’s Elder Pine! *

Yep, today’s brew has me so excited that I’m actually channeling the ghost of Dean Martin, who would have absolutely loved today’s Barrel-Aged Under the Weeping Moon Barleywine. 

Think about it. This is a man who once said “you’re not drunk if you can lie on the floor without hanging on.” If he was around to experience the new era of craft beer, he’d definitely be in the ‘Barleywine for Life’ crowd.

And he loved whiskey, so he’d be down with today’s blend of Barleywine and Ryewine that was aged for 11 months in Rye Whiskey barrels.

Not that you have to drink like Dean Martin to enjoy the rich flavors of chocolate-covered raisins, candied dates, warming whiskey, and creamy vanilla. This brew is for sippin’! And you’ll want to savor this one, because outside of their home state, you won’t find this delectable brew from the Maryland Craft Beer award-winners anywhere. 

Just be careful about how much you sip, or you’ll end up sounding like Charlie C. on Untappd: “Very smooth and delicious. This could be trouble.”

Yeah, I know the feeling. Better to invite a couple buddies over to share, especially if your friends happen to look like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. Then, you can put on awesome suits and do some crooning while you luxuriate in nuances of fig and baked apple.

And trust me, once you all get a few gulps of this 9.5% ABV brew in your belly, busting out in song is going to feel strangely appropriate.
