About This Beer
So how did the crew at Cerebral craft this ‘Breakfast Porter?’
They started with a rich and roasty base, then aged it for 11 months in a combination of Heaven Hill & Laws Four Grain Bourbon. Then, to make it taste like a morning meal, they conditioned the brew on Jubilee Roasting Co Moonbuggy espresso & Vermont Maple Syrup!
Tasting Notes
It really does taste like a spread you’d find at your local pancake cafe, with a beautiful balance of roasty coffee and sweet syrup flavors. Hints of vanilla from the barrels recall a fluffy shortstack, but nuances of top shelf whiskey (and a massive 14.5% ABV) will remind you that this is all beer, baby!

very strong maple syrup taste + some coffee notes and barrel aged flavor
what I liked the most was it has less soy sauce feeling that is usually coming from barrel aged stout..
really enjoyed :)
