About This Beer
The one thing H.B. Reese didn’t account for when he created his namesake morsel back in 1928 was booze. Thankfully, this Windy City brew crew has corrected that little issue.
They absolutely nailed the flavors, too — real chocolate and actual peanut butter bring candy-coated nuances to each full-bodied sip, and a ribbon of lactose makes for a silky smooth finish.

My bar for a peanut butter stout is pretty high and this one is really solid.

Peanut butter flavor is subtle, but present. Very smooth for 10% ABV. Enjoyable beer. My only criticism is that I would have liked it better if there was more roasty robustness.

Rich aromas of peanut butter and chocolate. Thick, full, smooth mouthfeel. Tasty notes that follow the nose. Really nice peanut butter stout.
