About This Beer
To craft this one, the Great Notion crew took inspiration from their 4.27 UT-rated Sticky Bun recipe. They started with a rich base aged a whopping three years in Rittenhouse rye barrels. Then they conditioned it on toasted pecans, cinnamon, maple syrup, and caramel.
Tasting Notes
Inviting breakfast aromas erupt out of very decadent dark pour. The taste follows, with candied pecan tones cascading into swirls of baking spice and brown sugar on every thick quaff. Treacly maple, vanilla oak, and dried fruit tones swirl throughout for all the flavors of a cinnamon raisin loaf, with hints of cocoa and bourbon caramel on the finish.
