About This Beer
To create it, the brewers took their Bourbon Barrel Aged Define Success Stout, and conditioned it on a full pound per barrel of Tongan vanilla beans. That swirl of creamy flavor serves to accentuate an already stellar sip.
The brewers aged this treat in bourbon barrels for a whopping 16 months, along with Amburana wood.

The first few sips are just fine. The wood notes are very different from a typical barrel aged stout. Pretty complex beer with a ridiculously long finish. It's growing on me as I drink it. You should get one of you can find it.

High marks. Sweet, but the vanilla really shines through. Really a great effort by Resident Culture.
