About This Beer
For the 2023 vintage of BBIS, the Reubem’s Brews crew started with a velvety base of oats and British specialty malts. They aged the brew upwards of 18 months in a variety of 8- to 12-year-old bourbon barrels before blending it all into one decadent, holiday delight.
Tasting Notes
Imagine sips of whiskey-soaked cocoa by the fireside and you have a decent idea what’s in store. Gorgeous dark mocha and toffee tones course through every quaff. Hints of vanilla oak and golden caramel swirl throughout, wrapping up the 14% ABV like a present under the tree.

Very good stout. More of a traditional style of flavor, not decadent as the description implies but smooth. Definitely pick up the barrel notes, oaky for sure. Still very good

Solid heavy boi stout. A touch sweet but a good one to share.
