About This Beer
Reuben’s created this BBA Imperial Stout with a blend of seven specialty malts plus oats for a smooth, velvety sip. And they hopped it with Magnum, giving the taste a balanced bitterness. Finally, they loaded the base into a selection of 8- to 12-year bourbon barrels to mature for around 18 months.
Tasting Notes
Waves of bittersweet chocolate course across your palate, accentuated by raisin, dried fig, and molasses notes. Whispers of Bing cherry and subtle smoke flow beneath. And all its time in oak imbued the roasty body with delectable splashes of crème brûlée and whiskey spice.
