About This Beer
Everyone's been talking about Cocaine Bear lately, but if you ask us that beast would have been much better off slurping down a couple cans of today’s American Porter.
No rampaging around, no insanity, just a relaxed drink with a couple of his raccoon buddies and then bedding down for a bit more hibernation. Sounds nice, right? Well you can do the exact same thing (minus the raccoons) with a can or two of Bear Went Out.
Tasting Notes
This roasty, malty brew holds enough cocoa and coffee flavor to satisfy a mountain-sized thirst. And plenty of wheat and oats in the mash create a sip so soft you’ll want to curl up with it for a snooze.

Light roasted malt aroma and flavor with a touch of cocoa. Fairly light bodied with a dry finish.

Creamy tan head, dark, coffee aroma, slightly peppery, rich chocolate taste with coffee notes, toasted grains, silky, and a dry finish.

this was a good beer, but too light for me, wanted it to be more like a Yuengling porter

Pretty roasty. Not sweet at all.
