Confession: I didn’t ask my middle school girlfriend out because she “gave me butterflies.” I asked her out because her dad owned the local smoothie joint. 

Sounds bad, I know. But her dad, “Smoothie Sal,” gave us unlimited smoothies. And, as a sweets-crazed 12 year-old boy, I wasn’t about to pass up that opportunity! 

Low and behold, the relationship (with the free drink bonus) ended long ago. So, when I saw Junkyard was releasing their Berry Me Terminal Delight Cream Soda Sour, my inner kid went berserk! 

Heads up, because it’s a monstrous treat indeed. This lusciously-smooth, juicy powerhouse is stuffed with heaps of real strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry. AND it comes in a whopping 750ml can, with a dangerously discreet 7.7% ABV to boot! 

Hints of drippy mixed berry tease my tongue, while succulent waves of exotic Madagascar vanilla please my persistent sweet tooth. With each smooth n’ thick sip, I feel like I’m tasting one of Sal’s famous smoothies — with a boozy twist. 

One thing’s for sure: this is the kind of brew sweet-toothed sippers fiend for. Still, I don’t recommend dating someone just to get their, ahem, sweets — especially since we have a few cans for you right here!
