About This Beer
In the early 2000s, Starbursts had these commercials with the “berries and cream lad.” He looked like Mr. Bean in a Dutch Boy wig and danced around singing “Berries and cream! Berries and cream! I’m a little lad who loves berries and cream!” It was weird, unsettling, and for some reason, I can’t scrub it from my brain.
That said, it would be totally understandable if you found yourself singing the same tune after tasting DUBCO’s juice-blasted Berry Necessary.
The brewer’s filled this Fruited Sour with real blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and lactose, and it tastes like straight up berries ‘n cream! Delish!
Tasting Notes
Pouring deep maroon, this beer has all the juicy fruity and velvety vanilla dessert decadence you could want in a succulently tangy, berry-blasted smoothie. It’s even thick enough for a straw — which is great, because the easygoing 5.4% ABV makes it endlessly slurpable!

Usually not a sour/berry fan, but this was really well balanced with all the flavors. gotta appreciate that, made it fun to drink.

Mt favorite part about this beer is it is light tasting. The perfect amount of berry and not overwhelming with lactose. A nice blend!
