The Bombastic crew calls Big Dumb Beer “anything but a classic take on an Imperial Stout.” They may be onto something — this thing is as big and fluffy as a bear wrapped up in a deer costume! Thanks to flaked oats and wheats as well as a dose of chocolate rye, this big fella matches its boozy base with a fluffy body!

A really full flavor with an incredibly smooth mouthfeel. I personally felt the more astringent mocha notes were distracting from the otherwise really great beer. Others might enjoy this particular beer’s profile, but ultimately not a match for me

Definitely not sweet, but it has a nice flavor with a subtle hint of mocha. It’s very smooth for 15% imperial stout. A little on the bitter side, but overall very pleasant.

I agree. Very smooth for a 15% beer. Definitely not sweet. Toasty and malty and creamy. A little coffee taste but more fudge and dark chocolate. I am feeling it.

Shockingly smooth for 15%, is never have guessed it. This is a much smoother imperial stout than most in this ABV category and honestly a very nice relief from ALLLL the adjunct beers. Very much enjoy it

I found that despite this high abv, it was pretty smooth and very enjoyable. Letting it sit on your tongue and embrace the flavors was nice.

I have a hard time sharing this beer. This is ambrosia. Yes, it's sweet and rich and malty. But I don't have enough of it to share with the few who would appreciate it. It sucks to be them.
