About This Beer
The legends at Burial started with a barley and wheat base fermented with a fruity Ale yeast. Then they gave it a delicate dry hop of Grungeist, Blanc, and Simcoe.
Tasting Notes
Soft, bready nuances of toasted sourdough lead with a spritz of lime just behind. Floral flourishes waft underneath gliding into tones of lemongrass before a refreshingly snappy finish.

Golden hue. Foamy head, with nice lacing. Herbal scent. Light body, with an effervescent mouthfeel. Mildly zesty and fruity, with hints of spice. Less flavorful or hoppy than anticipated, given the dry-hopping. A nice Kölsch, not particularly special or outstanding.

Light and refreshing. Nice flavorful aftertaste without being too hoppy. Enjoyable.

The dry hopping adds a tasty change of pace from your average kolsch. The body is nice and light, and it's pretty refreshing. That said, it didn't have that citrus finish I associate with a kolsch, and that threw me off a bit. Might have rated it higher if I wasn't putting it in this category?
