With my sister’s birthday coming up, I thought I’d bake her favorite pie — lemon meringue. How hard could it be, right?
HA! If only I’d known something so light and fluffy could be such a pain to make! My crust was soggy, my lemon filling watery, and the meringue looked more like melted snow. How the heck does anyone achieve “stiff peaks” anyway?
