Everyone always talks about lemon meringue pie, but for some reason the sweet, zesty deliciousness of orange meringue pie rarely enters into conversation.

Something tells me that’s about to change. The dessert masters at Energy City Brewing just whipped this enticing dessert into smoothly sippable beer form, and you can bet all your pie-loving taste buds it’s worth talking about! 

As part of Energy City’s pastry-powered Bistro Series, the brewers filled this Berliner Weisse with ingredients akin to those in the actual dessert: real oranges, lemons, and vanilla added post fermentation!

Like biting into a forkful of meringue pie, every sip of this one is succulently smooth and fluffy, brimming with notes of creamy vanilla and zesty-sweet custard. It finishes with a final twist of citrusy tartness, priming the palate for more craveable slurps. 

Just be forewarned: you’ll want to brag about this indulgent surprise to every craft fan you know. If you do, better be willing to share!
