About This Beer
The craft masters at Lumberbeard concocted an Imperial Stout dark enough to block out the sun! Then, they aged this pitch-black brew in Dry Fly Distilling Bourbon Barrels for a whole 14 months, allowing it to take on complex notes of woodspice and warming whiskey. If that wasn’t enough, they then finished it on copious amounts of decadent vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Each ultra-rich sip overflows with tempting chocolate, toasted toffee, and dark malty flavor. Meanwhile, the massive 14.2% ABV adds just the right amount of warmth on the backend.

another great one from this brewery

Great chocolate notes from the base stout. Barrel-aging is done well with the addition of vanilla for slight sweetness.

lots of vanilla but luckily it didn’t overtake the stout and barrel. was a nice blend very smooth. tasted no where close to 14%. kinda wish it did. second time with this and now too much vanilla

A Big Damn Beer, but I am thoroughly impressed. Drinks half as strong as it is and the vanilla makes this a SWEETHEART. Absolutely delicious.

This is excellent but you have to want a F**k ton of vanilla because it might be too much for some
. I however,
loved it and the alcohol is very much
in check with just the right amount of barrel!

damn! this is what you want with a high abv stout. not too much of an alcohol taste, but definitely there, and so much damn chocolate and vanilla. this was fantastic

DELICIOUS. Prepare your mouth-hole for TONS of vanilla. I’d definitely pick this up again.
